FC 27 promo calendar

Every Ultimate Team promo EA has confirmed so far, the ones still expected from past seasons, and what each one tends to do to card prices and your coins.

  1. Every Wednesday

    Team of the Week (TOTW)

A fresh squad of in-form players goes into packs every Wednesday evening, UK time. The top cards cost most on release night and usually ease as more get packed.

    Confirmed
  2. 17 Sep – 22 Oct

    Season 1: Ones to Watch

OTW cards come from the Season Pass, SBCs and objectives. Each one gains +1 OVR for every TOTW, Star Performer or Player of the Month spot, so its price follows real form.

    Confirmed
  3. October · Season 1

    Future Stars

EA has put Future Stars in Season 1, which ends on 22 October. EA has not announced the start date yet; it usually follows the first campaign of the season. Older special cards tend to dip on release night.

    Confirmed
  4. Late October · Season 2

    Ultimate Scream

The Halloween promo, on EA's roadmap for Season 2, which starts on 22 October. In FC 26 it began on 24 October. New cards flood packs, so older special cards usually fall in the first few days.

    Confirmed
  5. Oct – Dec · Season 2

    UEFA Road to the Knockouts

In past seasons these cards upgraded with real European results. Cards from clubs that keep winning tend to hold their value, while the rest drift down.

    Confirmed
  6. Oct – Dec · Season 2

    Hall of FUT Unleashed

New this year. Hall of FUT is a new tier for former Ultimate Team favourites, and EA says special campaign versions reach packs later in the season. With no past pattern, the first weekend's prices are the best guide.

    Confirmed
  7. Around Fri 27 Nov

    Black Friday Thunderstruck

In FC 26 it started on Black Friday itself, 28 November. Past Black Fridays brought a rush of time-limited packs and challenges. Good cards often drop as packs flood the market, then recover the week after.

    Confirmed
  8. December · Season 3

    First Series weeks

EA is swapping about five campaign weeks this year for Series: themed weeks with no new special cards added to packs. The first arrives in December. Less new supply should mean steadier prices.

    Confirmed
  9. Dec – Jan · Season 3

    New historic players campaign

EA's roadmap lists a new campaign built around historic players, with the name still to come. As with any new campaign, expect older cards to dip on day one.

    Confirmed
  10. Mid-December · Season 3

    Winter Wildcards

In FC 26 it started on 19 December. Festive Showdowns, also confirmed for Season 3, runs in the same stretch. Christmas squad challenges tend to push up the price of high-rated fodder.

    Confirmed
  11. Mid-January · Season 4

    Team of the Year

The biggest promo of the season. Season 4 starts on 14 January, and in FC 26 this promo began on 16 January. Many players sell cards in the weeks before to save coins, so prices usually dip in the build-up.

    Confirmed
  12. March

    FUT Birthday

Not yet on EA's roadmap, which only promises more to come from Season 5 on 25 February. In FC 26 it ran from 6 to 20 March.

    Expected
  13. April – June

    Team of the Season (TOTS)

League-by-league teams over several weeks. In FC 26 it started on 17 April. The strongest cards of the year arrive here, and older promo cards lose value quickly.

    Expected
  14. July – August

    FUTTIES

The summer promo that closes the season. In FC 26 it ran from 24 July to 21 August. With the next game close, many players spend freely and prices swing hard.

    Expected

Confirmed means EA has named the promo and its Season on its official roadmap or in its own news. Expected means it is not on the roadmap yet, so the timing comes from FC 26. We only give an exact day where EA has announced one or the weekly pattern points to it. Promos usually go live on a Friday at 6pm UK time.

What a promo is in Ultimate Team

A promo, which EA calls a campaign, is a themed set of special player cards released over a week or more, with SBCs, objectives and events built around it. Most go live on a Friday at 6pm UK time, often with a new team each week. On top of that, a new Team of the Week arrives every Wednesday.

FC 27 runs in Seasons. Each Season lasts five or six weeks, has its own Season Pass and a theme that links its campaigns together. EA has confirmed the dates of the first five:

SeasonDatesNamed by EA
Season 117 Sep – 22 Oct 2026Ones to Watch, Destined for Glory, Future Stars
Season 222 Oct – 3 Dec 2026Ultimate Scream, UEFA Road to the Knockouts, Hall of FUT Unleashed, Black Friday Thunderstruck
Season 33 Dec 2026 – 14 Jan 2027New historic players campaign, Winter Wildcards, Festive Showdowns, first Series
Season 414 Jan – 25 Feb 2027Team of the Year
Season 525 Feb – 8 Apr 2027Not named yet: "more to come"

EA has also said FC 27 will have fewer campaign weeks and smaller campaign squads than last year, with a tighter spread of ratings inside each squad. That should slow the pace at which new cards replace old ones.

Next promo: what is coming up

Destined for Glory, the first campaign after launch, went live on 25 September with a two-week run. Its cards keep upgrading all season from real league goals, assists and clean sheets. Future Stars is next on EA's roadmap. EA has not given its start date yet, and promos usually go live on a Friday at 6pm UK time.

Season 2 starts on Thursday 22 October. Ultimate Scream is the obvious next headline, with Halloween at the end of that month. The UK clocks go back on Sunday 25 October, so check release times in UK time rather than UTC from then on.

How promos move card and coin prices

Every promo puts a burst of new cards into packs, and the market reacts the same way most times:

  • Release night. Lots of players open packs and list what they get. Older special cards and high-rated golds often fall for a day or two.
  • The days before. Players sell to save coins for the new cards, so prices can soften before a big release.
  • Squad building challenges. When a new SBC needs high-rated players, those players climb fast and stay up until it ends.
  • Midweek. As pack openings slow down, many prices recover before the next Friday.
  • Late season. From spring onwards, the strongest cards keep getting stronger and older promo cards lose value more quickly.

None of this is guaranteed. A card that gets an upgrade or suits a new SBC can go the other way. But the release-night dip is the pattern traders plan around.

When your coins go furthest

Coins buy more when card prices are low, which usually means release nights and the days just after a big promo. If you want a specific player, having coins ready before the promo lets you buy during the dip rather than after it.

Right now 100K coins cost £7.65 on PlayStation and Xbox, and £7.00 on PC. Most orders arrive within 10–45 minutes, so an order on a Friday evening can still land in time for the first challenges.
