1. About these terms
These terms apply to every order placed through futcoin.co.uk (the "site"). The site is run by [company legal name], a company registered in [country of registration] under number [registration number], with its registered office at [registered address] ("Futcoin", "we", "us"). By placing an order you accept these terms, so please read them first. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. What we provide
We deliver in-game coins to your club in EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Team on PlayStation, Xbox or PC. Orders run from 100K to 20M coins. Coins are delivered by Comfort Trade or Player Auction, both explained on our how it works page.
Coins are a virtual item with no cash value outside the game, and they remain subject to EA's rules. Futcoin is an independent shop. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Electronic Arts Inc.
3. Who can order
You must be 18 or over to place an order. If you are under 18, you may only order with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf. You must own the EA account the coins are going to, or have the account holder's permission to order for it.
4. Orders, prices and payment
Checkout, payment and delivery are processed by our partner Onlyfarms (onlyfarms.gg). You finish your order on the Onlyfarms storefront, and its own terms also apply to checkout and payment.
Onlyfarms charges in euros. Prices shown in pounds on our site are an estimate at the current exchange rate, so the amount on your statement may be slightly different. Your bank or card issuer may also charge a foreign transaction fee. The payment methods offered at checkout currently include Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Your order is accepted once payment has gone through and you receive an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order and refund you in full if we cannot deliver it, if the price shown was clearly a mistake, or if we have good reason to suspect fraud.
5. Delivery
Most orders arrive within 10–45 minutes of payment, once we have everything we need from you. Large orders are sent in batches and take longer. Delivery times are estimates and can run longer when EA's servers are busy or down.
To receive coins you need an unlocked transfer market, free transfer list slots and a small coin balance in your club. For Player Auction, you list the player we name at the price we give you. If delivery is held up because your details are missing or wrong, or because you sign in to your account during a Comfort Trade, we will finish the order as soon as we can, but we are not responsible for that delay.
6. Comfort Trade and your account details
For Comfort Trade you give us your EA account login and backup codes. They are used only to sign in and deliver your order, and never for anything else. They are deleted when the 72-hour guarantee period for your order ends. Please stay signed out of the game and the Web App while delivery is running, and change your password once it is complete. If you would rather keep your login to yourself, choose Player Auction.
7. EA's rules and your risk
Buying coins from a third party is against EA's User Agreement. EA can act against accounts it believes have done so, for example by removing coins, restricting the transfer market or suspending the account. By placing an order you confirm that you understand this and accept that risk. We work to keep the risk low, but we cannot remove it or control EA's decisions.
Apart from what our guarantee in section 8 covers, we are not responsible for action EA takes against your account. Our page on whether buying coins is safe explains how we reduce the risk.
8. Our 72-hour guarantee
If coins we delivered go missing from your club within 72 hours of delivery, we will deliver them again or refund you for the missing coins. To claim, contact us within that 72-hour window and give us your order number. The guarantee page sets out what is covered and how a claim works. The guarantee is in addition to your legal rights, not a replacement for them.
9. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel an order and receive a full refund at any time before delivery starts. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you would normally have 14 days to cancel an online order. Coins are digital content, so when you ask for delivery to start straight away, you agree that you lose the right to cancel once delivery has begun. If we cannot deliver an order, or can only deliver part of it, we refund the part that was not delivered. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Onlyfarms, in euros, so the figure in pounds may differ from what you paid if the exchange rate has moved. Our refund policy has the details. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
10. Your responsibilities
You agree to give accurate details, to pay only with a payment method you are entitled to use, and to tell us promptly if something looks wrong with your order. You must not use the service for fraud, for an account you have no right to use, or in any way that breaks the law.
11. Our liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to take reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for events outside our reasonable control, such as EA server outages or changes EA makes to the game.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales. Outside those cases, our total liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it. [Confirm this limit with a solicitor.]
12. Trademarks and site content
EA SPORTS FC and Ultimate Team are trademarks of Electronic Arts Inc. We use these names only to describe the game our service relates to. The text, design and graphics on this site belong to [company legal name] and may not be copied without our permission.
13. Your personal data
We handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the law or our service changes. The version on the site when you place an order applies to that order.
15. Complaints
If you are unhappy with an order, email [email protected] with your order number and tell us what went wrong. We will look into it and aim to reply within [response time].
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
