FC 27 Web App: release, login and what it does

When the FC 27 Web App came out

The FC 27 Web App went live on Wednesday 16 September 2026 at 6pm UK time. EA gave the time as 17:00 UTC in its launch Pitch Notes, and the UK was still on British Summer Time, so it landed at six in the evening here.

That was nine days before the full game. Worldwide launch was Friday 25 September, and Ultimate Edition early access started at midnight on 18 September. So returning players had a day and a bit to sort their club in a browser before anyone could play a match.

The old FC 26 Web App closed on 11 September. From 17 September both apps only work for FC 27, so there is no way back into last year's club from a browser.

EA publishes its times in UTC. Here they are converted for the UK.

That last date matters if you only manage your club from a browser. After 7 November EA requires at least one login to Ultimate Team in FC 27 on your PlayStation, Xbox or PC to keep using both apps.

The Companion App

The Companion App is the phone version of the Web App. It runs on iOS and Android, phones and tablets, and shows the same club, squads and market. The FC 27 update went live a day after the browser version, on Thursday 17 September at 6pm UK time.

Get it from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with the same EA account you use in the game. Anything you do on your phone shows up in the browser and in the game, because it is one club.

EA added Streamlined SBCs to the phone app on 28 September, which makes squad building challenges quicker to finish on the go. Many traders still prefer a laptop for searching and listing. For checking a bid on the bus, the phone is handier.

What you can do in the Web App

EA lists these as the main jobs both apps handle:

• Buy and sell players on the market without being at your console.
• Complete SBCs by swapping spare players for packs, players and other rewards.
• Set tactics, including Roles and Focuses for your starting XI.
• Apply Evolutions to upgrade players you already own.
• Manage your club: squads, your transfer list and your unassigned items.

You cannot play matches. Rivals, Champions, Squad Battles and Live Events stay on console or PC. Think of the browser app as the office and the game as the pitch.

How to log in

1. Open the Web App page on EA's official site in any modern browser, on a computer or a tablet.
2. Sign in with the EA account you play FC 27 with. On PlayStation or Xbox, that is the EA account linked to your PSN or Xbox profile.
3. If EA asks for a verification code, enter it from your email, phone or authenticator app.
4. Wait for your club and squad to load. EA says that is how you know you are in.

Early access rules

To use the app before launch, you needed a club made in FC 26, FC 25 or FC 24 on the same platform before 1 August 2026, on an account in good standing. EA says that if you do not have access, you have either broken its rules in the past or not played long enough.

If you cannot get in

• Check you are using the right EA account. Some players have more than one, and only one is linked to their console.
• New to Ultimate Team? Start it once in the game first, then log in to the app with the same account.

Market access in the apps

Getting into the app is one step. Using its transfer market is another, and it has its own lock.

Returning players who earned access in FC 26 before 1 August 2026, in FC 25 before 1 August 2025 or in FC 24 before 1 August 2024 get it straight away if their account is in good standing. Everyone else earns it through active days. An active day means three full Ultimate Team matches plus a login to either app on the same UTC calendar day.

With one Ultimate Team account on your console or PC, two active days is normally enough. If other accounts have been used on that device, it normally takes at least four.
